BC 29 and sapphire protein skimmer?

I just installed my protein skimmer tonight. It is my first one. How do I adjust the collection cup (how do I know it is collecting properly)? what is the right height?

Per Kyle at Sapphire, bottom of collection cup should just barely touch bubble development. To quote him, " Make the skim work to get in to the cup."

It will take a day or two to really settle down - so you may have to adjust a bit at first.
