Beckett Skimmer run off an overflow box

Because im insane and have boxes of parts everywhere i decided to try a beckett skimmer that is getting water feed to it from an overflow box. IT REALLY WORKS BUT.... there are still issues that have to be worked out. First there seems to be a limit on the water that can flow through it before the back pressure causes the water to rise in the overflow box. i figured an emergency overflow is DEFINITLEY needed even if dialed in perfect. Murphys law. Second a box with 2 overflows can run 2 becketts creating more bubbles because of the water limit problem. any thoughts from any other insane people out there about this.
