Been 2 months time for growth pics

Well about 2 months ago I posted some growth pics and I added more T5's to my system. I had 2- overdriven T5's on each 75g tank (1- 10,000K Jalli and 1- D-D Pure actinic) on for 11 hrs a day. I added a GE 6500K bulb and a UVi super actinic that are on 4 hrs a day to simulate peak sunlight (10am-2pm)

The corals have responded with lots of growth and coloration but the coraline algae seems to have bleached quite a bit from the extra lighting.

Here ya go, check out the pics.

Soon I will be adding a Calcium reactor and kalk reactor, automating top off and installing a controller. Hope to have even better pics after a few months of that :D

Thanks guys. I am currently not dosing anything at all. I don't know how but my CA stays around 380 with no help. Maybe it's because there is close to 400 gals of water with only 150g display. I don't really do water changes either  I know I am bad but it keeps working so I keep doing it. I have a 140g fuge with lots of macro and about 8" DSB.

I am hoping that when I raise the CA and ALK levels to what most would consider acceptable I will see them grow even more. I also need some more flow in the tank as there is nothing in there except the return pump flow through a penductor. The pump is a Little Giant MD3 and it flows something like 800 gph split to 2 75g tanks. I am assuming if I get maximum efficiency out of the penductors I am actually moving around 2000 gph in each 75g tank.

I guess I am a rulebreaker when it comes to reef keeping.

Happy Easter to you to Chris! Don't eat too much candy.

compared to water volume your demand is low but that big clam must suck up the calcium

nice corals
