I was getting alot of bubbles from the drains and I started evaporating almost a gallon more each day.

I ended up taking a 4" pvc pipe and cutting alot of 1" holes with a hole saw. Now the water is dead silent. works great.

Is there a cap on the bottom? Could you share any other details about it, like is there anything inside the pipe? Filter bag?

I have an issue with my drains and splashing water. The salt-creep makes a mess and even affects the paint inside the stand.
