Behind the scenes at albq. AQ. Part 2

Ok so I know that some of you have expressed interest in this to Alex and at the last meeting we decided to do a whole group tour at some point in the near future...
We also decided to let me use my contact there (AQ.) to have a smaller more tour sooner.


I have spoken to Ken and we are going to give a small tour after thanksgiving on sunday december 2 at 10:30 ...we are going to limit this tour to ten so we can see more and get a more personal tour. Ken also agreed to try to do the full club tour or a second tour after the holiday season... anyone who wants to go on the tour PM me or speak to me at the next meeting ;.)

Sounds awsome, I will officially miss this tour unless there are extra spots to make sure others get a chance to go. I am looking forward though to checking it out in the future.

yeah there is room left as most club members have been slow to respond..
we will be meeting at the Albuquerque aquarium at around 1030 on sunday Dec. 2nd.
Generally the tour encompasses viewing most of the quarantine, growout, filtration, food prep (kitchen), lower level and upper level, exhibits (of course), and coral prop tanks .

This was an awesome tour, thanks again Eric!

I especially liked seeing the shark tank top-down and the 75,000gph 'mixing bucket'.
