Behlen 600 gallons, multi display

Finally got sump switches hooked back up after 8 months of topping off manually. Back on auto top off via Apex and a RO reservoir.

Heater Configuration, an old 300W (not sure what brand....had it for years) and two Hydor 400W. Programed to come on in step intervals as temp falls as well turn off on the way up as well, so that if the 300 is not raising/maintaining temp, one of the 400s come on, then the 3rd heater should that not be enough. Each Heater high limits are set within two degrees over the target temp in case the temp probes fail high, or the EB8 outlets fail on for some reason. I'm thinking about adding a 4th smaller heater as first in line since the bulk of the work will be the first/primary heater and this will help keep the electric use minimized hopefully. Maybe a 200W

Update to this post. I also added refrigerator valve/solenoid which is 120VAC from the RO unit to the RO reservoir tank, which has it's own double float switch in to now. The APEX is programmed to cycle the valve on for only 20 seconds, then off for about 3 1/2 min to allow the valve solenoid to cool down since these valves are not meant for extended duty cycle and would otherwise get hot and possibly fail. This cycles for up to 40 minutes which refills the RO reservoir past the "fill on" float or until the second overfilled float switch triggers and sends an alarm. Seems to be working flawlessly so far.

Adding a picture of some of the fish I'm sitting. My neighbors fish in my tank. Heard he may be doing better...not sure when he'll get to come home. Need to relearn how to edit and properly size pictures...

A little tragedy down the street....my neighbor has been in ICU with complications for a few weeks and his wife doesn't know about his tank. We fixed the overflow last Saturday which broke siphon and topped off the water. Lost 1 yellow. The others thought to be dead made it once the O2 was replenished. Got a call again yesterday because the sump was dry again. After discussing we decided to ease their mind I will babysit the fish in my tank, so now there is are tangs and others inhabiting my tank. Weird timing because I just started working on the tank again last Friday and had just got it ready for larger fish. Added a AFS module yesterday and have all the fish settled in as well put my neighbor's live rock in the sump. Will still need to scoop out his sand and dry the tank since we are unsure of his homecoming and ability to care for his tank. Hopefully my neighbor recovers and I am able to take care of his stock. One of the tangs is a big nose unicorn about 12-14 inches long...his name is Big Boy and they have had him since he was just a few inches long.

My neighbor made it home. He is happy I'm fish sitting for him, and had thought of changing to fresh water anyway....no idea yet on his plans. When he is ready to rebuild....if he does....I'll help him drill his tank and add an in tank overflow so he does not have to worry about the hang on overflow loosing siphon again.

You're a great neighbor. What fish areyou planning on getting now that your fish sitting gig may become permanent?
