Belated Happy Valentines Day!

COMAS Rocks!
Spent all day yesterday home with the flu so didn't get a chance to tell ya'll happy Valentines Day!!!!

Any good romantic stories out there to share? Anybody get anything good :D.
 
I got a dozen roses, some M&M's and a wonderful dinner at Rococo. That is one of the best restaurants in town IMO. Pricey (could have had a large head of duncans) but great food. One of the few restaurants that can cook better than me. I'm shamelessly immodest about my cooking! It also has a Sun. brunch with live jazz. Going to have to try that one.

I hope everyone had as a romantic evening as me. Here's to LOVE! :love2:
 
Rococo uh? Not familiar with that place. Nicest spot I've taken jess was Belini's, not the greatest place I've been, but anyone who can mix vodka and ravioli's get's an A+ in my book :D.

my boss gave me a hug and a chocolate rose. (my assistant got a gigantic vase of flowers and a singing balloon the size of a volkswagon from her man) =/

OH! but i tested my tank last night and i got perfect parameters! =D so a nice present from my tank. that counts, right?
 
My wife baked brownies and cooked spaghetti, then we sat in front of the TV all night. Nothing beats home cooking!:)

Lots of things count as gifts with tanks...not that nonfishy people would get it. The other night I was looking at my FW tank with the big beautiful Koi angel that my sometimes son Nick gave me and I re-noticed how beautiful her iridescent scales are...like she has diamonds on her sides.

Reminded me of the old Paul Simmon song, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes so I went to sleep smiling and humming. Now that is a gift!
 
anytime you can go to sleep with a peace of mind is a gift. (and having had a baby, ANY sleep is a gift for me! lol)
 
Man, all this talk of good food and home cooking....I got a burnt meatball sub from Subway for my V-day meal, lol.
 
Stop whining! You and Jess learn to cook then make next year's meal together. Cooking in the kitchen can lead to some other heated ideas... Of course, I mean like hot tomales or something. :inlove:

Are you going to plant the bulbs also? LOL I will help you harvest the fruit of those plants.
 
My students made my day. Valentine's day, my birthday and hitting the 1/2 century mark all at once...they could barely contain themselves. My children even remembered...both of them...which is notable in and of itself. And my "significant other" sent the school into a panic by having a balloon bouquet with about a dozen latex balloons delivered to a latex-free campus. To finish off an already wonderful day, I stayed home, had a frozen pizza and declared war (yet again) on my hydroids. Great day!!
