Any one have these?? Specifically a pair?? I am looking into purchasing a pair. Just wanted to see what experiences other reefers have had. Pics welcome!! :bounce3:

I had a small, single female at one time (2"). She did well for about a year, but later died as a result of a blown circuit that cut off all pumps (ergo oxygen) in my tank during the night.

I just took my two females out of QT and placed them in the tank the other day....eats great, gets along with eveyone else as well, i waited a long time to get them and i gotta tell you it was definatly worth the wait!!!!

Thats to bad!:sad1: Glad that I asked then. Will have to keep looking for a nice pair to add. Was also thinking maybe a pair of Pyramid BFLY (Hemitaurichthys polylepis).

They would do well, even a trio. I don't know how to sex them but I have four in one tank and three in another.

I love my female. she has a great personality, stands up for herself, but not a bully. I could see a 125 fitting 2-3 females or a pair.

HHHMMMMMM..... I don't want to add the fish if they won't be comfortable. Heres a list of my current occupants:
Saddleback clowns - Amphiprion polymnus (pair)
Chromis viridis - (pair)
Chocolate Surgeon - Acanthurus pyroferus about 4 1/2 "
Yellow headed sleeper goby - Valenciennea strigata
Carpenter's Flasher wrasse - Paracheilinus carpenteri

Definitely I would add bellus, stuning fish. I added mine to purple tang who doesn't like anybody except himself. Even though bellus knows who is the boss, purple didn't even look at him twice, let him sleep next to him and flame angel, no problems at all, fantastic fish.

I had two females in a 125. It took about a year and the larger female became a male. See the Bellus Angle Thread http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=736503&page=7

Now another year has passed. I only have four fish left after a horrific velvet outbreak. They share a 250 gal with a pair of percs and are loving it. The male was in bad shape but pulled through. The female, like the percs, never seemed bothered by it/

I highly recommend this fish. If one went from female to male in my 125, I think that a 6 ft tank is a fine size for them. I do have a very tiny pair though ~ 2.5 inches.

Pictures of my pair today
