Bellus Angel

My new 210 gallon tank (7'X2'X2') is currently cycling. I have 30 gallon QT tank that is now done cycling and I want to put my Bellus Angel in to start the process. I have had her about a year, but she has spent the last two months at my LFS being held for me once I sold my previous 125 gallon. My plan is to do a round of Prazi first and then Cupramine. This is my first time QTing a fish and wanted to get thoughts on if both meds are needed and if there is anything else I should know about QTing this fish or anything in general. Could I add another fish in with the Bellus? She is about 3 inches. My LFS has a Sunset Butterfly (Chaetodon pelewensis) that I would like to get, it is about 3 inches as well. Thanks for your input!

I treat all fish with prazipro. 5 days with the full dose, then 50 percent water change and redose for another 5 days. I usually wait to see if ich develops on the fish before treating with cupramine, just because cupramine is harder on the fish then Prazipro. You can combine prazipro and cupramine at the same time if needed also, but I would only do this if the fish has both flukes and ich/velvet. Also I like to wait until the fish is eating aggressively before treating if I can.
As for both fish in the quarantine, yes you can just be sure to stay on top of water quality. Hope this helps.

I personally prefer to monitor my fish and take longer in QT than to treat it for something it hasn't got. When I say that I am really referring to treating with copper. I'm not a huge fan of copper anyway but am always a bit reluctant to put it anywhere near an angel.
Using prazi is sensible and not really too stressful for the fish so could be a good precaution but I would look into an alternative method if treating (or trying to eliminate the possibility of) ich. TT seems popular and CP is big over this side of the pond at the moment, and they are both less risky imo than copper.

There are very few butterflies that I would recommend to anyone... Have you had previous success with some?

Thanks for the responses. I dont have multiple tanks set up for TTM yet. I think i will still do Prazi and then just observe for a few weeks for Ich. Since the Bellus has been living in a LFS tank for the last two months that have had who knows how many fish in and out of it, i want to be sure that it doesnt have anything funky.

I had a Lemon Butterfly in my previous tank for about a year, but it went with the tank when i sold it.
