Update.

Got rid of the Jebao gyre and got a pair of Jebao DLW-10. These are the Nero knock offs.

So far I like them a lot. In my opinion it’s better than the gyre was. The gyre was loud and unreliable. These are dead quiet and move a lot of water. So far I have them on alternating pulses at 30% strength which is the lowest they will go.

Opinion?

Sigh.

Upon further watching and assessment, this stuff is now growing everywhere even on top of the small Xenia colony. I’m nearly convinced at this point that it is 100% Dinos which really blows.

I’m not sure what to do about it. The last time I had to fight these I blacked out the entire tank and beat it.

Oh crap. *knock on wood, I’ve never dealt with Dinos. I *think* @kharmaguru has some knowledge.

I will say, I recently got some Brightwell Razor and that stuff really cleared my tank of all algae…good and bad, might want to try it.
