Ben’s back at it 20G long

made a small change today. Right now I’m currently changing out continuously about 1L a day. That works out to about a little under 2 gallons a week. That’s barely 10% a week water change. I checked my alkalinity today and it ls looking to be around 9.6. So with the alk a little low, the Ph a little low (checked that with the saliftert kit against the apex, the two are pretty close.) I’m wondering if I can solve it by increasing my water change to 2L a day. That’ll work out to about 14L a week which is ~3.7g a week. That seems closer to 20% water change weekly. Hopefully maybe that will also ease up the snot algae whatever it is.

I’ll report back with the PH graph in a couple days and see if there is a small baseline increase.

ATO style water changes are a slick setup. I knew a guy doing it with a nano system (like 4g). his final setup was probably one of the most expensive per gallong setups I've ever seen but was growing fantastic.

Little update.

I do see a small baseline shift here in the graph. Probably a little to early to tell, but it does look like it’s creeping higher minimum and maximum.

Ignore the outlier valley in the middle of the picture.
