I'm thinking about ordering some anybody else want in? I would love to find them locally if anybody knows a shop that has them on hand. Happy Reefing everyone

Has anyone locally had long term first hand success using these nudibranch for aiptasia control?

I had them. They stayed hidden for the first 3-5 months. Then one day I began seeing them EVERYWHERE! After my Aiptasia were taken care of, their numbers dwindled and finally died off due to starvation. No I have aiptasia again.

Mike (magdelan) already posted but he's the best example I ever saw anywhere. I saw his aquarium after most of the Aiptasia were cleaned up.
In addition to the few nudis I got from Mike I purchased a pair from CF.
If you recall my thread in this forum, the nudis were definitely reproducing but they were nowhere as effective as my Butterflyfish and Angelfish at ridding my aquarium of Aiptasia.

Obviously.... using a Butterflyfish or Angelfish in a small aquarium is an issue.

thats exactly my issue and unfortunatly the 10 peppermint shrimp in the tank at the moment are not doing a very good job

starve those shrimp! (Hungry shrimp are more likely to attack Aiptasia.)

use caution when adding nudis to those shrimps- the shrimps might eat nudis.

just finished acclimating my berghi salty underground did a good job with the shipping end 2x-3x all bags (piggy backed a few corals in on the order) thick styro packageing peanuts the whole 9 the berghi where also in a plastic cup with a lid so they wouldn't get smashed. All the corals where well bigger than advertised (8-10 poylp frag was actually 20+ poylps single head of torch has 3 mouths other poylp frag has almost double the poylps) very happy at this point
