Berghia group buy?

Count me in for one, maybe 2.

What's suitable for a 75 gallon. I don't have a lot of aptasia, but some small ones I want to control.

Maybe i should just do one, and see how well he does. Don't want the poor thing to starve.
 
They tend to follow each other around if kept in groups and will feed on aiptasia together. It seems that starving is inevitable though since they'll probably eat the aiptasia before the anemones can reproduce enough. Plus the nudibranchs will breed and the babies will crawl around and eat all the tiny aiptasia hiding in the rock.

You could always get free aiptasia from the store though and keep feeding the nudibranchs. Seems decently feasible. Set up a little berghia tank to keep them in. :)
 
There are so many of us that have an issue with aiptasia in our tanks that Im sure it wont be too hard to relcate them once we are out of them. It does take several months for them to really dwindle the aiptasia numbers down so Im sure that it wouldnt be too stressful on them to be relocated
 
From what I was told, from the guy who gave me mine, once they run out of food they are relatively easy to find because they will come out in the open to look for aiptasias.
 
That's good to know then. I don't want them dying either if there's someone else who can use them.
 
Just let me know I am usually off work on Mondays but I have enough projects I could take a day off and wait around for them if you guys want me to.......
 
I just realized that if we happen to order from a different site, like saltyunderground, they have corals and other things too. So if anyone was interested in something other than berghia, that would be a possibility.
 
Ok, looking at how many people have replied, I think the best bet will be to go with saltyunderground at this point. I'm thinking we could get the order in for next week or so. The berghia will be about 10 bucks each from there, and we can all split the shipping which should be a bit over $35.
If anyone's interested in ordering anything else at the same time, tell me. I'm thinking about grabbing one of the $10 mystery corals with my order and seeing if I get anything cool. We'll figure out all the payment stuff after we know how many of what everyone's getting and whose house this will get shipped to.
Can everyone post their final count for how many berghia they want?
I think I have Bubba down for 2, and rwinfrey for 3? Htfd said 1, and Is Dchec still interested?

I'll be getting two for my tank.

Is paypal ahead of time going to work for anyone here? If someone needs to do cash on the pickup day that will be ok. It looks like we have people from all around the eastern part of the state. If it gets shipped to Andover, I can be around all day and meet anyone who comes to pick their nudibranchs up.
I'm going to be busy for most of the 14th, but any day after that will work for me. Anyone else have ideas on what day is best?
 
It doesnt matter to me what day we get them as long as someone (preferably someone as close to me as possible) can hold mine for me until I get out of work
