Are you guys aware that you really don't just huck a couple of these in your tank and then they eat all your aiptasia right? From everything I heard, you best bet is to raise them in a seperate safe tank, with a steady supply of aiptasia, until there is a large population, then you set them on your problem rockwork.

But in the long run, they never exterminate the aiptasia in your tank, they simply cull them back, then they die off, then the aiptasia return.

Now that's all hearsay, since I've never tried them. But its hearsay from a strong source.

That's my point about someone culturing locally.
Most people won't maintain a culture, but if there is a noticeable improvement from chucking a few in the tank, would probably buy again in the future.
Snails and hermits are a perfect example. People end up replacing some of them from time to time at $2-$3 each. Kind of a consumable.
I don't know what the price sensitivity would be, but without shipping costs it might work out.
$25 on aptaisia control a few times a year...

Thoughts?

Aquatic Tech in Cleveland was breeding them the last time I was there about a year ago. I am not sure if they still have them.
