berghia nudibranch for free

once again, thanks for the berghia's wetfish.

the funny thing is that my buddy decided he wanted to tear down his tank and redo it so i ended up giving them away to other reefers.

Anymore Berghia Nudibranches

Anymore Berghia Nudibranches

Hey WetFish...Do you have anymore nudis? I could really use them at this time...My 24 gallon nano is infested with aptasias. I have tried the peppermint shrimp fix...and they continue to multiply. Joe juice has killed a few but not many...tank still has plenty of aptasias. Please let me know if you have anymore that I may have. Thanks again.

I picked up the nuddi's today from Wetfish. He is a stand up guy. I only needed one or two and he gave me 5 :)

I put the three small ones in my office tank, the two biggies are going in my home tank later tonight.

Rick thanks for the nudi's. How long till I see results? I've had them in for a couple of days and still see all the aiptasia in there same spots. I may actually see more. I am hoping they didn't die.

In my tank,it took about a week or more to really see any difference and then mostly in certain spots. They seem to eat the little aptaisias first.

Rick the aiptasia appear to be moving. Maybe they are moving because they are being eaten. :rolleye1: Finally a couple of aiptasia are missing. :D

How do you find the nudis in the tank to get them out? They are so small. I want to fish some of mine out after they clear out the tank.

Hey Stag,

I think you mean to be talking to WETFISH. He is the guy giving out the nudi's.

I am still waiting for them to kick in on my tank. I have an 18G nano in my office that has thousands of them. I let them grow unchecked for at least 6 months and they are practically on every piece of rock surface. Some of them are even on the glass.

Nice tank BTW, I really like the way you setup the canopy.

How would these guys do against really rally big aptasia? I have one that's like 1.5 inch tall and 5/8" in diameter

The berghia explosion is over. It's been over a month since I saw an aptaisia. The berghias have disappeared.I gave away the last one last week and the rest are gone? I must have given away 60 or 70 of them.
Hopefully some one else will have a breeding event in their tank and have the kindness to spread them around since they die without aptaisia to eat. Maybe we could keep it going...so aptaisia would not be such a problem.
