Berghia Nudibranch Group Buy

Hello fellow reefers! I am hoping to set up a group buy for Berghia Nudibranchs as my tank has had an explosion of aptasia in the past few weeks. I have request info from Reef Town . com. They have a sale going on at this time. They are planning to ship on the 22nd of January for deliver on the 23rd. The deliver will be at my house. I would be able to float bags if need be.

I live in Stratford, CT about a mile or two from The Coral Reef, LLC. The berghias are priced according to size and quantity. I am leaning towards the medium sized ones as they are a better buy and are the most likely to lay eggs consistently. You can also order eggs with an order of nudi's as well.

I will post any info that I receive from the owner in regards to the group buy. I have requested that the orders be separated for ease.

What do you mean $6...? Yes you can add egg wheels as well. I would like to order by the end of the week...

So I need to know what everyone is looking to order... The company has requested we pay all at once. I will send in quantity and sizes for the individual orders, then he will send a Paypal invoice with total. I have requested that he break down the individual totals for each order. Once I get the breakdowns and total I can forward the email with the totals etc. Then everyone can Paypal me the cash and I will place the order. I hope this works for everyone.


Spread the word. The more we order the better the price. I want to order at the end of the week, so it will ship out next Wednesday for Thurs delivery. Let me know.

I'm in! I'd like 3 medium. I'd actually like to get more but I understand that the nudibranch are not safe in tanks with wrasse or sally lightfoots, right?

They website says that wrasses and sally lightfoot's are predators to nudibranchs. I have wrasses in my tank that didn't bother my berghias from before... I guess it depends on the temperment of your livestock...

So right now we are looking at 14 medium berghias plus my order.... Which would bring us up to 20 medium berghias. that brings the total around $256. We need a few more to hit the $300 mark.... Come on guyys and gals! Tell your friends!!

OK, I'll do my part: up my order to four medium and a coil of eggs.

Am hoping we can meet somewhere between Stratford and Meriden but we'll work out that detail next week.

Great the company recommends buying them in groups of four. As each pair will lay eggs. They recommend buying 2 pair also because Berghias are pack hunters or colonial hunters. They will attack aptasia in groups. Thus making it easier to ingest and destroy the aptasias.
