Berghia Nudibranch Group Order

I'm getting really tired of never being able to fully eradicate the aptasia in my tank so I'm going to try these guys out. The videos I've seen are encouraging. They go for $15-16 ea. for the 1/2" breeders. I'm going to order some soon so if your interested LMK ASAP.

I'm so down. I am changing my hobby from coral keeping to aiptasia and algae farming. Looking into gfo by the palette and commercial herbicides (ok, jk..). I'm getting a grip on the algae, but the aiptasia are out of control. I went through the volume of 3 small aiptasia x bottles in one application a month or two ago and it looks like I did nothing currently. I expect soon they'll be trying to grab my kole tang as he swims by.

Hopefully we can get more nudis at a lower unit price, as well as share shipping.

My peppermints have been knocking them back, been feeding the tang nori in the clip so the peppermints don't catch any stray food, keeps'em hungry...
Is that the only thing these Berghia eat?

Jake put me down for a few, maybe they will be able to hide from the wrasses long enough to do some good. I'm not sure which I have more of corals or aptasia. When were you going to order?

Guy- yes they only eat aptasia

Grant-sometime next week. wanna give ample time for people to get in on this.

Well from what I've read they're not a quick fix for getting rid of aptaisa. They need to breed and become a larger "pack" before anyh significant difference can be noticed. Even the "breeder"adults are somewhat small and disapear imediately into the rockwork. You probably wont ever see them unless your up at 2-3am with a flashlight looking for them. The real sign of success will be seeing spiral patterns of eggs on the glass. Once the start reproducing then its on!

Mine disappeared into the rocks. I think I might have seen one since. Grant made a funny joke about mine rapidly becoming the size of sea hares with all the food for them I have. :D

maybe...

maybe...

While I have not seen my berghias since their introduction, there appears to be a 4 inch by 4 inch spot on the rock on which they were placed which has a much lower percentage covering by aiptasia. It may be that they are starting to clear some space.
