What will you do now? Will you pull some out (give them away) and let the rest starve? I am curious to hear if the aiptasia will start to return in a few months.

Peppermint shrimp have always worked great for me but once the shrimp die the aiptasia seem to slowly return within 6 months or so. I guess I could populate the sump and overflow with the nudist. I I wonder if they would get massacred in the sump pump and skimmer pump?

Unfortunately all of them have starved already. I had arranged to sell them, but my timing was off and I was out of town right at the peak of the colony. I had a LFS here willing to buy the entire colony in exchange for store credit. Really upset I screwed that one up.

As far as the aiptasia go, I'll just nuke the ones I see with aiptasia x. The only reason things got so out of control was because I let the tank go to hell after I got discouraged from losing almost all of my coral in a hurricane. Had I kept up with it I wouldn't have resorted to hiring mercenaries.
