Hello to all,

I'm new to sps and wanted to get your input on the best single ended 14k bulb. I run 2X luminarc III's on icecap ballasts, currently running 20k but I want to switch to 14's. Used to run hamilton 14k's....

Thanks!

I agree and when I don't want to fork out aqua connect prices I buy phx for half the ac cost.

just bought the iwasaki 14 K - really nice bulb - check sanjays page and the reviews easily 2x as bright as a hamilton 14K and not at all yellow like 10K's

Really like the 400w aquaconnects for color, but not for price and they're difficult to find. So, when you need to replace your bulbs 9-12 months down the line your SOL.

Lost color with the Hamiltons...overall looked the same aesthetically, but the sps themselves lost they're color vibrancy.

Lately have been considering the Hitachi version.

there is a new bulb from hitachi?

Those both look nice, do you have a link to the iwasaki's?

Everything is pricey when you get into sps =)
