Best 20K Bulb Suggestions Please

I have an Aqualight Pro 150W with 2 x 65W actinics. This is over my 58G. I am focusing my efforts on Lords (Indo and Non Indo), Micros, and other LPS / Softies. I tried a 150W DE Radium but after 2 months the bulb had smoked over and my corals were reaching for light. I currently have a Phoenix 14K and am pleased but wanted to try another 20K to get the best coloration. Can someone tell me of a good 20K that gives both good color and growth? I do not mind spending a little more for a good bulb. Thanks!

I had those 20k XM on my old 55g, it was beautiful & my corals grew very well under them - mixed reef w/LPS, a clam, Softies, & a single SPS. However, I had to replace at least every 8 mos, they don't seem to last as long as a year. This was confirmed by the owner of my LFS who is a very good one. I didn't mind because of the awesome coloration they brought out in my system. I was recommended them by Dr. Mac & Sons - they use them & sell them so if you want more info on them you may want to email them. When I set up my larger system I am planning on using them again.

Update... I went from a 14K Phoenix to a 20K XM. Man is it blue! Of course I knew that it would be. Anyway I went ahead and replaced 1 of my 65W Actinics with a 50/50 bulb that I had on hand and it tones the blue down a little. Now that I have tried 4 different 150 W DE MH bulbs (Coralvue 10K, Phoenix 14K, Radium 20K, XM 20K) I will probably go back to the Phoenix 14K when it is time to replace it again. IMO it gives the nicest color all around.

IMO, the xm20k is just too blue. Does coralvue reflux do a 150w? If they do I would certainly try it. On my 250w that's what I run. I was told they were rated as 13k. I don't have to run any actinic supplement with them on.

You might check it out when it's time to replace.
