Best alkalinity test kit ?

I almost run out of my api alkalinity test kit and would like some opinions ? Which one do u guys use ?

Considered Hanna and will likely switch to it, but right now, price is hard to beat.

From what I remember when I had my water tested against Salifert, it was. You can check on BRS as they have a video on it. Actually I would advise on checking out their video on their website, they show case a few products. Long run, Hanna will prolly be cheaper because the refills are cheaper and everyone seems to love them. I recently ordered the phosphate tester from them as well.

David, I use the salifert test kit. I am sure api is also good. I have a hannah checker for alk and calcium that I would be happy to sell you with personalized instructions. For me (not everyone) I find using the test kit easier and quicker that the hannah. However I strongly recommend the hannah for phosphates, and consider it a MUST as I have not found a regular test kit that reads low numbers correctly. Also I suggest you get a salifert nitrate test kit while your ordering.

I actually took your advice and ordered the Hanna phosphate test kit along with some reagents.
