Best anemone for False Percs?

I have a mated pair of False Percs and would like to maybe sometime soon add a host anemone for them. Which one would be best? Preferable a smaller one that does not take up too much space.

What size tank?
What lights?
How long has the tank been set up?
What are your current water parameters -- with numbers please.
Do you have a sandbed, if so, how deep?
What other livestock are in the tank?
Have you ever kept an anemone before?

The current tank is rather small, 35-40 gallon in the system. Using LED lights, 100W total. The tank has been running for 5 months now.

My parameters are:

PH: 8.3
S.G 1.026
Alk: 9.6
NH3: 0
NO2: 0
NO3: 0.10
PO4: 0
Ca: 425
Mg: 1300

I do have a 2" sand bed at the moment. Besides the mated clown pair I have a yellow goby, cleaner shrimp, serpent startfish + regular CUC.

Have not kept an anemone before but sometime need to be the first for everyone right? I am not planning to get anything at the moment. More curious what you would eventually pair up with the False Percs. In a year or so the plans are to upgrade to a 100= gallon rimless tank.

I agree with the BTA choice. I have a green BTA for my pair and they love it. Took them a couple of days to figure out what it was but when they did WOW! Here is a night pic of them

I like the BTA. How small can you get them. I like the idea of adding a small one that grows bigger instead of a fully grown one. But it should still be big enough to be able to host my clowns.

Any of the natural hosts would be too large for that size tank and they are difficult to keep for a first timer. Even a 100 gal is a stretch. False percs are often hosted by a BTA and I have seen some in an LTA. Either of those would be more suited to your setup. You would need more sand for an LTA so your best bet is a BTA.

The guideline I've seen for clownfish/anemone pairings is that the anemone should be about 3x the size of the largest clown, in order to avoid stressing the anemone. After having kept a small maroon clownfish who "loved" her BTA to death a few years ago, I think this is good advice.
