What are your opinions on the best anemone for clownfish hosting?

Thanks in advance!
Which clownfish?
Clarkii use virtually all 10 host anemones. Magnifica host almost all of the clownfish species.
There is a sticky on this forum will tell you which anemones associated with which clownfish.
Not the locked thread by snorvich. Bad information

Thank you everyone. I will take a look at the sticky. I have been running my LPS reef tank for approx. 2 years. Just had bad luck in the past with anemones and wondered which species I should try for best hosting results. I have 3 clowns in my tank.

what clowns do you have? BTA's ime are the easiest of hosting anemone's but depends on the clowns you have. I have ocy's that use my BTA's but took them 9 months to enter it.

If you are looking for the easiest definitely go with bubble tips. Pretty much all of the others require a little luck or treatment to get a healthy one. IMO, the hardest part of keeping an anemone is finding a healthy one in the first place. If you are looking for the best chance of hosting just make sure you get one that is a natural host for your clowns. They will more than likely take to the anemone immediately if it is a natural host.

What type of clowns do you have? 3 will probably turn into two at some point.

I have one big ocellaris, one small black ocellaris, and one medium black ice snowflake.

Consider how likley your Ocellaris will go into anemones, not consider difficulty, you will have great luck with Gigantea, Magnifica, Crispa, Malu. Maybe with Doreensis, Haddoni, and BTA.

Thank you Minh. In your opinion, which anemones are the easiest for my first attempt at raising them?

I'm not Minh but if you have a large tank I'd go with a crispa, smaller tank I'd do Malu. It's pretty tough to find Gigs and mags that don't need cipro treatment.

Crispa, Malu, Haddoni and BTA are likely to be easier than the others. Doreensis also is fairly easy but IME, they will not be happy unless in a deep sand bed (4+ inches IME but other people seem to get away with less)). Magnifica and Gigantea need really high light and happier with good flow. All anemones need reasonable water parameter and stability.
There are always people who said they have healthy anemones other than the typical condition for the species, which is great for them.
