Best Anemones for Maroons?

Are Rose Anemones the best match for Maroons? I have a mated pair (one gold stripe, one white stripe) which has laid eggs for the past 5 years and want give them an anemone again for the first time in a year. I previously had them happily hosted in a rose, but that rose got chomped up by powerheads after I moved it into a bigger tank. Just wanted to know if they will host in carpets or any other anemones besides the RBTAs?

Thanks,
Scott

Bubble anemones are indeed the best host for maroon clownfish. Not only are they their natural host, but they are the easiest anemone hosting species to care for.

The BTA's are their natural hosts in the wild. IMO I would get them another bta because even after a year it may be an hour or so after they find it until they will be swiming into it. .

Make sure the anemone is LARGE. At least 3 times the size of the largest clown would be best. They can be rough on their hosts, and an acclimating BTA can already be really stressed.

I have a maroon with a bta. I used a net to get the maroon acquainted with the bta. After that, it has been nothing but love!
