I have a pair of once larks clowns and I want to get an anenome for them I'm just wondering which ones would these guys prefer??

if you mean clarks then one of these Entacmaea quadricolor, Heteractis aurora, Heteractis crispa, Heteractis magnifica, and Stichodactyla gigantea.

Googled it and it's a beautiful anenome and as long as my clowns are happy I am now I just need to find one...

well, occ's usually want one of the more difficult species of anemone: mag, gig, mentensi

rbta sometimes work, sometimes wont. elegant corals worked for me but it deceased soon after my clown hosted it--like in 2 weeks or 3. it reacted very badly to clowns' messin with it. whenever my clowns rubbed or nipped it, it retracted

Quick story to help you. I had two Ocellaris clowns in a small tank. I was obsessed with getting them in an anemone. I'm very nutty about keeping the fish happy and anyone who has had a hosted anemone, knows how happy the clown is. I first got a GTA, cheap, beautiful, but clowns had no interest. (At this time I wasn't using the boards for help or researching much, just using my LFS). Went back switched for a rose (expensive!), and clowns did not like it. My LFS told me to show them a video of a clown hosting (I think this guy is high a lot, at least that made everyone I told laugh-I never tried it). Brought back the rose, next tried a ritteri (also expensive!), clowns had no interest. Eventually, I brought the clowns back and bought a maroon and a rose (the maroon was hosting in the store). I was told by a guy (customer) in the store who had been doing tanks for 15 years O. Clowns don't host very easy. I still have my maroon and rose (she is my fav fish, tons of personality), so I don't have a tons of experience with this. But if you really want a clown in an anemone I think it is easier to just buy one and its anemone at the store.

From your question, you are not experienced enough for anemones yet. I would keep the fish without anemones for a while (long while) to get some experience under your belt. Natural hosts for Ocellaris are all very difficult anemone to keep (S. gignatea and H. magnifica) or really rare to find (S. mertesii).
You can try Bubble tipped anemone (H. quadricolor) which are not as difficult to keep. Most of the time Ocellaris will use BTA as host.

Orion I completely agree with you on waiting I don't want to get my anenome for another year or so because I'm on a budget and anenomes are usually pretty expensive, So I think I'll do a BTA when I do an anenome because you said they are easier to keep so I think I'd rather start with an easier anenome.
