Best bacterial and fungus medication for fish?

What is the best bacterial and fungal medication for fish? Im looking into the marcyn II.

Maracyn 2 (minocycline) is my preferred antibiotic for bacterial infections. 2nd in line is kanamycine (Seachem Kanaplex).

limitdown, how do you determine whether you usage maracyn 2 or kanamycine?
steven, why do you prefer furan compounds? what kind of furan based product do you use?
is it the case that furanese is effective against both fungus and bacteria, while maracyn 2 is only effective against bacteria?
how do you know whether fish has fungus/bacteria, or both?

I have always had better luck with things like Furan-2 (Nitrofurazone and Furazolidone).
