Best bang for the buck SLR camera?

I went from the 10D to the 5D. My recommendation is to put your put your bigger investment in the lenses, not the body. I'd say to stick to a Rebel over a 20D and take the difference and get yourself a faster walkaround.

wait for the nikon d80 to hit the stores. I have a d50 which I love but I will get a d80. From what I have read its the best bang for the buck.

Don't buy anything you didn't play with first..Go to a camera shop and play around with both. You will know which feels right.
