best biological filtration for nano tank

I have a nano tank, what kind of filtration is best? plan on having soft and lps coral. Ive heard of chemi pure elite, what else...

For my 29 gal. I only use LR and a Protein Skimmer. I sometimes (for 1-2 days @ a time) use media in a HOB whisper to filter out any floating bits. I remove and clean this as needed as it traps mucho organics which would decompose. The HOB is used w/o media most of the time for water movement.
