Best BTA food to encourage growth

I have a small RBTA and I'm wanting to get this puppy to have a growth spurt. I'm feeding almost daily. I'm alternating between Hikari mysids and small pieces of silversides enriched with some Hikari marine pelets by stuffing them inside the fish.

Have any of you noticed that feeding one thing in particular encourages growth?

Mine are splitting and growing very fast.

okay...I am a HUGE believer in Rod's! I swear my RBTA has doubled in size since I have received him...no joke and that is only in a few months!

He really does love Rod's though. I use a turkey baster to feed him, and no lie, he just coils up and scarfs whatever piece of it he grabs! Simply amazing! He looks good...he is not moving around AT ALL...he is spreading himself out A LOT. He just looks like a beautiful RBTA!

Its really not good for them.

I disagree....I feed my Roses silversides from H2o life inc. been doing it for years.

i agree... i feed mine whole silverside and pieces of shrimp and they are doing great!

silversides soaked in selcon. does wonders. they'll grow, split, and make you some dough$$ fo sho

I feed mine fresh mussels. It's like superfood or something. I fed it twice a week for a month, in that month it doubled in size. I no longer feed it anything... it'll grow too fast!

Whole silversides for me and once in a while some krill! Been working fine for me. Keep it simple.
