Best BTA food to encourage growth

I have a small RBTA and I'm wanting to get this puppy to have a growth spurt. I'm feeding almost daily. I'm alternating between Hikari mysids and small pieces of silversides enriched with some Hikari marine pelets by stuffing them inside the fish.

Have any of you noticed that feeding one thing in particular encourages growth?

okay...I am a HUGE believer in Rod's! I swear my RBTA has doubled in size since I have received him...no joke and that is only in a few months!

He really does love Rod's though. I use a turkey baster to feed him, and no lie, he just coils up and scarfs whatever piece of it he grabs! Simply amazing! He looks good...he is not moving around AT ALL...he is spreading himself out A LOT. He just looks like a beautiful RBTA!

Can they handle larger pieces, like a whole grass shrimp or silverside?

Its really not good for them.

no larger pieces than their mouth

I disagree....I feed my Roses silversides from H2o life inc. been doing it for years.

I feed mine fresh mussels. It's like superfood or something. I fed it twice a week for a month, in that month it doubled in size. I no longer feed it anything... it'll grow too fast!

Once again, as in everything in this hobby, different things work in different tanks.
We each find our own way with the help of others who succeed.

No rules, just reef?
