I have a 210g tank and i take care of a few tanks at some businesses around town. I am 15 so my budget is small. I am need to buy an RO unit to help get things done faster so i dont have to to go get water every few days.

I have had the aqua fx ro units recommended to me and like them a lot but there prices are fairly high. I called the people there and they said to go with the "baracuda" one of the more expensive ones. I live out in the counry and have a well that has exta filters in it so our water is already good and has no hardness but probably lots of TDS. Are these good filters and do i really need the "baracuda" or can i go with a lesser value model like the "Dolphin"? here is the link

I also have a good opertunity to get a pure flo II at a great price made by Energy Savers unlimited inc. and the seachem pinnacle are any of these good units? I am also open to any other sugg.

Thanks

You can save yourself some money and buy an RO/DI unit on ebay, like Aquasafe. All RO/Di units use the exact same media usually made by Dow Chemical. I have been running an Aquasafe unit I bought on ebay 2 years ago and my TDS readings are between 1 and 3 at all times.

The long term cost of any RO/DI unit is the membranes and media, check out what it will cost you to run long term, if you have well water you probably want to test you water then get an ro/di based upon what you need to remove most of.
