Best/Favorite brand of heater

Any suggestions on a reliable, dependable heater? Also, what size would you all recommend for a 180 reef? My cheapo heater looks like it's on its last legs.

I have always had good success with Ebo Jager heaters. but you should always use an external controller to be safe

i've always had good luck with the Ebo Jager's. I have one that I've been using off and on for 10 years now...

John, you'll no longer find "Ebo" brand Jager heaters, Eheim bought the name a bit ago. Effectively the same heater, and can be submerged, contrary to the packaging. There is a thread somewhere that describes the UL process and why the Eheim hasn't yet received approval, etc.
