I've got a 70gal softie project up and running. I have NO fish in it whatsoever. I do have a few spots that the clean up crew is ignoring and now I've got a major hair algae problem brewing. Looking for a sole inhabitant to keep algae in check.

Suggestions???

My lawnmower blenny absolutely mowed through hair algae, and he left all of my corals alone.

I have found that red or scarlet hermits crabs do a good job also. Rabbit fish are all way a good choice also. Good luck.

i too suggest a lawnmower blenny, I used to have terrible hair algae and added one and it immediatly plowed through all of it and to this day keeps my tank spotless, very interesting personality, very peacfull and well behaved arond inverts and will accept flake food/frozen with gusto once algae is under control.
