I am a little confused, the 6055 is $200 bucks for 1500gph and the 6060 is $188 for 2500gph??? Is something wrong there?
Both are controlable......why is the smaller pump more expensive?
Actually the 6060 is not controllable, hence the price difference. The 6060, 6080, 6025, 6045 are non controllable and the 6101, 6201, and 6055 are controllable.....
I would consider a pair of 6055s or 6101s on a multicontroller or a 6101 on a single controller by itself even.
You would get a reasonable flow in the tank with the 2 6055's on a controller and the 6025's on all the time. You can use the 6025's just to get your general flow through the rocks etc. throughout the tank and use the 6055's to create a specific water flow in the tank.
Another option if the space is available is to go 2 6101's and they would be adequate.
