Best light for coloration

Hi guys,
Im in the process of upgrading my hqi bulbs. i was just wonder what time of light and what kelvin give teh best coloration. I tried teh coralvue 20k and it is too blue. I also try the ab bulb 10K. the ab looks nice for the first month but then turned a bit yellow after that. can some one shed some light. Pictures would be great too.

what wattage? HQI are a bit limited in the 400 watt, although hamilton has come out with a 14k. My problem, at least, is that the hamiltons dont fit my fixture, they are a specific size for hamilton fixtures only (or so Im told).

I switched from giessman 10k to the phoenix 14k and wow what a difference, wish I would have switched earlier.....
