Best live rock on LI

I was hoping some of you people more familiar with the LFSs around here could let me know the best place in LI to get live rock. I was thinking about ordering some but the shipping tends to cost so much I would like to pick some up locally, plus it would help prevent a bunch of die off.

The only store I have been to was Country Critters and although it was a good 6 months or so ago. I was not looking for live rock at the time but I seem to remember it not looking that great, not a lot of coraline algae and pretty expensive.

The closer to Stony Brook the better, but I am willing to drive in Nassau for some quality rock especially if the price is not high.

Thanks!

Thanks jnfallon, I actually tried to swing by there one day while coming home from Country Critters but missed it somehow. I'll try to swing by this weekend to take a look. Not quite ready to buy yet, going to be another couple weeks yet still need to build my sump and get the plumbing all done.

Come to NERAC, buy a ton (well it doesn't weight that much) of Marcos rock which is dry, porous and lightweight. 2.25lb I think and when you are ready, buy a 5 or 10lb piece of live with coralline and in 3-5 months your Marco rock will look better than the live that you purchased. I bought 72lbs last year and seeded it with 30lbs of live from my old tank and it looks amazing.

I really would like to make it out to NERAC, I just have way too much to do this weekend...and so little of it is fun stuff. I may try to check out Aqua Hut while I am out at Home Depot picking up baseboard and casing. This is what I have to do to cover the expenses of the pumps, rock, coarls, etc...with the wife. If I went to NERAC instead I just may not be around come Monday. :)
