Best MH reflectors for the 300DD

I have 2 of the lumen bright mini's on my 156 gal 60x24x24t tank. I do really like the spread on these reflectors and curently run the radium bulbs. I am moving up to a 300DD 72x36x27t so I will need to either purchase another of the same to total 3 reflectors that I need on a 6ft tank. Or will need to purchase 3 totally new reflectors. Just need some opinions of the best reflector for a even spread of light up to 36". I know some reflectors tend to be more of a spot light than an even spread and others will only have a 24" spread.

if you want the best spread...I'd recommend either the large lumenarc III or the large lumenmax reflectors. you could get one more lumenbright..just raise them higher to spread the light.

My lumenbrights are off of the water about 10" and do very well for the 24"x24" application. I know there are many that run the lumen max elites and lumenmax 2. I hope some of them will pipe in with their opinions. I am thinking even if I raise my lumenbright mini's they may not be the reflector to give me enough spread, since they are only 14"x14".

I have 2 Lumen Max Elite Reflectors in the large 20x20 size dont know if they make those that big any more and I have one Lumen bright 20x20. I like the Lumen Maxs better they seem to give off a better spread and shimmer than my Lumen max. My tank is also a 300 84x36x24 and I run the bulbs about 14-16 off the top.

You are waiting for new reflectors. What are you getting?

The lumenmax reflector that measures 22"x22". The lumenmax elite only measures around 14".

Go for the lumenarc III large. Can't go wrong with the lumenarcs, they're great. One of the most common reflectors with all totm winners here on RC.

Where is the best online to purchase the lumenarc III large? I can see the large size being good for spread, but I am hoping they have a short profile as far as how tall they are.

I see many going with the Lumen Max Elite reflectors. The are a smaller overall size and profile. My question from anyone that has them is what spread of light do they put out, how far off of water surface are they placed? Also do they put off the same shimmer as the other reflectors do? I notice the aluminum reflective surface is much different.

I am still curious about the shimmer effect of the elites with the different reflective surface compared to the other reflectors such as the lumenarc III large shinnier surface. I am also enterested in this reflector too. It is a toss up. How far off of water surface are you planning on mounting your elites?
