Best nano fish

My favorites are the possum wrasses. I love my yellow-banded possum wrasse. They are peaceful and should be kept with other peaceful fish.

Yes, agreed, yellow banded possum wrasse is awesome. Very pretty fish. Tens to hide but should do ok with frendly neighbors.

I'll never add clowns to a tank that size again. I just removed a mated pair in my 29 gallon cube. They tore up some frilly mushrooms I had for some reason out of the blue. I mean they destroyed it. So they are gone.

Six lines - nice size, but agressive. Depending on your substrate, if any, may want to pass on this guy.

Possum wrasses, if you can find them, are great. On my list to order but local stores never really carry them for some reason and I don't want to mail order. Forum member here just added one to his 100 and mentioned he rarely sees it. It is shy but he knows it is eating something.

I have a bi-color blenny. Wanted a starry blenny but again couldn't find one. The yellow and green gobies noted above are really nice. I also have a pair of pajama cardinals.

Mine is actually pretty much out all the time. He is the only fish in the tank though. I did have a goby for a while that he did fine with. I moved the goby over to my Biocube. I think the trick with possum wrasses is to add them first. Let them get acclimated to the new environment and venturing out, gettng brave in their new digs before adding another fish. My yellow-banded possum wrasse comes up to the front of the tank when he sees me (probably hoping for food LOL). He is very comfortable in his home. I did add a peaceful goby after having the wrasse about 3mos. The wrasse did fine with the goby. I moved the goby to my Biocube to help with stirring the sand. I need to get a second fish to go with the wrasse. Perhaps a cardinal or a goby.

This was because they were pairing up probably. Clowns get aggressive when mating. If you do a single clown of either Percula or Occelaris then you should be fine.

And I got my possum wrasse from LiveAquaria's Divers Den. Divers Den stock is always top-notch because they quarantine them and make sure they are healthy and eating before selling them. LiveAquaria also offers a 2 week guarantee on their fish which you will never find at LFS. The guarantee is reason enough to order from them, IMHO...especially for any fish that costs more than $30.
