Best nem for 28g with ocellaris

Hi all, I am pretty sure this question has been asked here before, but I searched the forum for the last half hour and cannot find a good answer.

I have a JBJ 28g tank with MH lighting, some live coral, and I am looking into adding a tank bred ocellaris or percula pair and an anemone. So, what's a good anemone for this size tank that would host ocellaris or percula?

Thanks!

Judging from others' experience and what I've been advised to do (I'm also thinking about getting an [aquacultured] anemone), I'd say a cloned bubbletip. The cloned or aquacultured ones are apparently hardier and easier to take care of, and BTAs are supposed to be the "easiest" anemones to keep. I think they also stay smaller than other clownfish-hosting anemones.

You may want an anemone that stay on the sand so they will not bother your corals. Most of the time, they will go into a S. haddoni which is not their natural host. H. malu or H. crispa would be their natural host and would likely do well in a small tank like your's. More difficult anemones would be H. magnifica or S. gigantea, both are natural host of A. percula. They are much more difficult to keep, and difficult to get a healthy specimen to start with. I have had A. percula or A. ocellaris with all of the above.
BTW. GCreef.com in Corpus Christi have some very nice Onyx A. percula almost ready for sale.
BTA are common and sometime Ocellaris or Percula would go in them but not always.

My A. percula with H. magnifica

My A. percula with my H. malu. This is the parent of the babies at GCreef.com. BTW, I don't have any financial or other incentive for sale of these fish. They just friend of mine. I loan them my pair so they can breed them.

Those are exactly the clownfish I am getting, small world, I got all my coral at GCReef (I know Brad from there) and everything is doing great, I was just there a couple of days ago to check on the A. percula but they are still too small. I am looking for an anemone for them :)

its kindof a hit or miss if a perc. or an occ. is gonna go into a BTA. and if they are tankbred clowns then there is an even lesser chance. out of the 2, the percs would proly be more likely to go into a BTA. a LTA seems to work out pretty good with occ. and percs. along with the list that orionNprovided(carpets, magnificent, seabe etc) i agree that a sand dwelling would would be a better idea, less chance of the nem stinging corals.
