Best nitrate export macro

Is there one macro algae to keep in a fuge that would definitely do a better job of lowering nitrates than another? All other variables aside, such as being invasive or going sexual - just curious if there is a hand's down better macro for nitrate export.

I'd vote for chaeto as well.

But since you asked specifically

The answer would be whichever grows (adds mass) the fastest. I'm guessing this could even be hair algae or similar.

The big advantage of chaeto is that it doesn't attach and spread throughout your tank. It may not be the most efficient but it's also not invasive and doesn't go sexual.

Caulerpa worked good for me. But i got tired of harvesting it all the time to stop it going asexual so now i just have chaeto and xenia. Chaeto's growing fast aswell - Im making alot of money, ebay

I believe that in many tanks, Caulerpa racemosa is clearly more efficient in that it will out compete Chaeto. It did in my tank, and others have reported that as well.
