Best NO3 test kit

I have been salifert brand loyal for decades but I don't think my salifert kit has the resolution I want now. Kit is almost done and I am looking for suggestions for my next kit. Needs to be economical, reliable, accurate and not overly complicated to use. I used the Nyos and liked it

Some of my favorite brands of test kits are salferit, Giesemann, and Elos. I have found the similar reading if not the same. I have not used Red Sea so no opinion there. But my preference would be any of these three.

I don't usually test for it, but salifert looking through side of the test vial is good enough for me.

I switched from Salifert which I had used for years to Nyos after seeing a friend use his Nyos kit. It is much easier for me to read.

I switched from salifert to Nyos too. Looks similar other than the extra vial for reading. I guess It has more sense of accuracy with the second vial for reading.

So, do you guys rinse the jars several times in tank water before testing like the instructions say?

I do it for Hanna vials, but not NYOS (N03). Unless it’s still wet from just cleaning it. I.e., if doing re test.
