This is all IMO...
Pets Plus, in Lockport, usually doesn't have great rock at all... practically base rock being sold as "live." But it will be a few bucks cheaper...
The Fish Place, in NT, has a good selection of different types of rock...But its expensive...They also have some cheap base rock, but not a lot.
Salt Water Paradise, in NT, has SWEET ROCK! But its super expensive...
You can also check out the new store, Aquatech, in Cheektowaga...They have some rock...
My advice, check out all of the stores... If you are filling up a tank with rock, (and not looking for a piece or two) Buy the majority of your rock at Pets Plus and The Fish Place. Then get some SWEET pieces from Salt water Paradise, to top off your rock work...

Jason from Aqua Tech just got in a big batch of Live Rock a few days ago. He got a few varieties. One kind was large pieces of branch rock. I can't even pronounce the locations of the others, but it looks like good rock. It's curing right now, so it's still a little fresh. Some people like to pick out fresh rock and try to save some of the sponges and other life that usually dies off in the curing process. Just be careful adding fresh/uncured rock to a tank with fish and other life already established.
