Best place to get a cube?

Hi all,

I'm new here and am looking to set up a 25-30 gallon cube reef. I really like the rimless look and I am planning on keeping an open top with MH lighting. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for this type of tank? I'm up in the air between glass or acrylic. I've had very large tanks in the past (both glass and acrylic) and am comfortable with either. Love the look of acrylic but hate the potential of scratches. On the other hand, I had a glass 125 give way once while I was at work which is always in the back of my mind...

Any ideas??

Steve,

Keith (Reef central id is DEERE G) has built some amazing looking cubes for a few members here. Contact him and we can do anything you want.

I just ordered two glass tank from glasscages.com 2 months ago. The price is right, but I would not order a display tank from them. The tanks I received (one was chipped) were not very nice. The sides are not all the same height, so there is a ledge between each side. The silicon work is poor at best. (there is so much extra silicon). You are welcome to come over and look at the tanks.

I saw one of the tanks Keith built for TJ and it was sweet. Just my two cents.

Thanks for the reply. I found glasscages last night while surfing around and read some of the reviews. Their prices are right, but I am also concerned about the quality after reading some of the experiences of those who ordered tanks. I will try Keith to see what he can do.

I was going to suggest Salty Critter also. They have the Solana 34g rimless cube on display as well as a new rounded front glass rimless tank right next to it.
