Best protein skimmer for 29G w/top

Based on feedback I've gotten here, I'm leaning toward a protein skimmer instead of my old canister filter. Which works best with a glass top? I'm looking for ease of operation.

I have an in tank Tunze 9004 skimmer for sale. Used only for a month. Produced great skim and kept my nitrates down.

I am using the Coralife 65 HOB Skimmer on my 36g Bowfront tank, it works great. Making a sump so I can get it out of the DT though as it does take up space.
