Best Rockscape EVER

I saw this thread when it started last week and just laughed my *** off through all 8 pages.

I think Ralphie did a pretty darn good job. I always like to see something other than the "rockpile" look. Good job, Ralphie!

Just a shame its a FOWLR tank-- would make an awesome reef!

1st off I didn't say my tank was the "Best Rockscape EVER"... and my tank is irrevelant to this thread and it is very rude of you to reference my newly setup tank that I have put minimal effort in and spent less than $100 on everything for it...
I am not being funny, the tank looks like a place for curing rock, and not for stocking large FOWLR fish, or allowing placement for corals if he ever decides too.

First of all your comments about the rock placement shows your lack of experience in SW,it takes a lot of time and patience to create what ralphie did.If and when you decide to spend more than $100 on your personal tank you will find that out. It's no easy task to do what he did.

Secondly, why would you judge someone else when you have no experience in aquascaping anyway.

Third and last, get a sense of humor dude!!!I dont think he was trying to claim anything, just wanted to get everyones attention, which it did.
Kudos to ralphie for his excellent work,it's a very good setup for FOWLR or a REEF.Dispite what some jelous people might think.

Ahhh yes....but wouldn't it be judgemental of YOU to judge the judicial nature of his judgement of what Ralphie judged to be the "best rockscape ever?"

wow - what a funny thread!

as for the rock....its ok but a long way short of the threads title! Still looks very "pile of rocks" for my taste....but hey, if the guys happy with it etc, etc

Dont be shy Tiggsy, show us YOUR tank so that we can all see what a tank looks like "without a pile of rocks"

I just looked at the pictures again... I'm amazed that you got it to do that with nothing but gravity. How stable is it (does it wobble)?

That PA Marshall looks a lot like the dry stuff from marco rocks (the shapes). I tried to make some cool stuff like that out of my marco rocks, and I could never get things to stay with gravity, and every time I tried to drill I'd end up breaking the most important part of the structure I was trying to build. I eventually gave up and used it as base rock - stacked my PA Fiji on top of it.

my other tank i built pvc stand for all the rocks. i bought a lot again this time but thought it was too annoying so i just stacked it all. its very very stable, thanks to all the knocks and crannies of the rocks. you just have to keep trying different rocks until you find one that fits just right.

Searched the posts and was actually quite impressed w/ Tiggsy's creativity and design... gonna go subscribe there as well for progress pics. Still gonna watch yours too ralphie as I can't decide which aquascape I like better... they're both great!

I've got 3 setup threads in my subscriptions now... don't no one else go making a setup thread as I can't handle any more of these...

I judge that your judgement is unecessarily judgemental.
There's only one true judge in my book and thats GOD!!!
I was'nt judging anybody,it's called voicing an opposing oppinion.
That being said everyone has a right to thier "OPINION".
But I dont have to be so judgmental on any certain judgment
because I'm not a judge.So you are correct there.LOL
All I was saying is that how can someone with "ONE" rock in their tank say ralphies looks like a "tank for curing rock"and not good for fish or corals. It shows he knows nothing about the subject.
IMO,I think ralphie did a great job. It's not the best I've seen, but very nice aquascape.

Ralphy has another thread on which he is witholding pictures now...in case you haven't spent enough time on this one.

I'd post a link...but...you'll find it if you ... want to.

Al Gore didn't invent this thread... He is only taking credit for it. If he did invent it, though... he woulda posted the pics sooner than Ralphie.

It wouldn't have been pictures, it would have been graphs.

WOW! What incredible insight you have there. Obviously you have no clue who I am or what tanks I have had in the past. Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, a person could of had another tank??? I don't know what you are trying to prove or defend, but making my own opinion that one persons rockscape looks like a pile of rocks on the ends should not be that threatening. The tank shown in this thread is far from my personal taste and having an actual opinion that makes any sense was stated. Please keep your know it all, look at me statements at a minimum. The type of reefer you depict to me is just another run of the mill RC troll, or whatever you want to call them. They think they have all this experience or something, and think "how could someone actually not agree with me, that is not what I experienced?", oh no whaaaa, mommy.... get over yourself. Oh I am sorry, another obvious misjudgement from myself, maybe I should do something else rather than mess with another one of RC's whiners. I think we all should do better things with our lives, maybe read a book or something, good day to you.

Dreaminmel, I have a 5yr old Akita with those same markings in your avatar! You can see him in my myspace link! The greatest dog I ever had! Oh BTW cool rock layout. If your gonna be BB, thats gonna give ya alot of dead spots.
