Best skimmer for a 200g system?

I dont think my Jeffs Exotic 6-1 skimmer is going to cut it much longer... especially since I want to add more fish to my system. Currently, my tank is pretty lightly stocked, but I dont think that will be the case much longer.

What skimmer would you reccommend? My stand is only about 32-34" high inside, so it needs to be a bit shorter than that. The footprint in my sump where it would likely be placed (where my current skimmer is located) is about 12"x15". LMK what you think.

Ok... I should have mentioned that I want to spend less than ONE BILLION DOLLARS.

I would LOVE to spend under $500. I would likely look for a used skimmer. I am just trying to figure out what would be the best bang for my buck. I was considering an ASM or Euroreef... also like the AquaC EV series....

I would reccomend you get the biggest one you can afford and/or fit. That is however if you like lots of fish like I like lot's of fish!

Euro-Reef RS250 is a nice "in sump"
For about $40 you could mod it to be an RC 250

Liar, you are just lonely! I thought you felt that you no longer needed a skimmer since the acros were sucking up all the nutrients. Last I remember you were considering going skimmerless.

I can say that both of these skimmers would do a great job on a 200 gallon tank. I can especially vouch for the EV400 as it was once on my tank.

Didn't you buy that monster Dart skimmer???? Gonna have to run a dedicated 20 amp circuit just to run your skimmers....

The EV 400 w/ Mag 24 suprisingly only uses 125-130 watts because of the added head pressure of the injector.
