Best tanks from around the world.

Incredible fish collection! Can't wait to see the new system. Will it be double or triple the size of the current tank? ;)

its going to be close to double, around 600 US gallons :) main aim will be to experiment with more butterflies. Will get a build thread open on here to report my success/failures.

Good news for us...can't wait to see it. How old is your current tank?

Wow nice tank, love the fish selection, can you put some names to the types of butterfly fish you have in there, I always thought these were not Sps friendly.

Always looking at this so thought might as well put mine up.

Beautiful tank Barramundi, some amazing sps you have there. In answer to your earlier question the butterflies I have are c. Tinkeri, c. Paucifasciatus and c.fremblii, thus far I haven't seen any tangible detriment to my reef, hopefully it will stay that way.

Thanks Dusty, I just love the fish you have in your tank and wish I had that variety in mine. What do you feed and how much?

I just seen a saddleback butterfly in a LFS and wanted it but once I read up on them i decided against it.

Well done on your tank it looks fantastic and I'm looking forward to seeing your rebuild.

Really nice barramundi ...I always like to see tanks that have separation between their rock with nothing on the sand bed. Your cup coral is cool,...looks like a LA Laker.

The paucifasciatus look like they're picking at corals in every pic, did they do any damage at all? Have you had to remove any corals along the way because of the butterflies?

Yup, they peck at the corals all day , I dont see any damage though. I believe they are taking slime though I couldnt be 100% sure. Fortunately I've never had to remove a coral due to my butterflies.

Good info,...do you feed them heavy? if so what are you giving them? Thanks,---Rick

Yes I feed very heavy , I have two pellet auto feeders both drop 4 times daily, I also feed a mix of frozen , some days more than others probably 5 or 6 times a day Friday to Monday and once or twice Tuesday to thursday. I also feed a big pinch of flake on average once or twice a day.

Enjoy reading this thread everyday so I thought I'd add to it:
