What is the temperature range you guys keep the tank?

75-78 is what I keep mine at, smaller tank so I try to keep the temp lower for less evaporation even though it has a screen top lol.

I see, I have a chiller and sump and hood fans all controlled by my reef keeper.

I want to keep this one simple and cheap. I'm setting to be 77-80.

When the Apex goes nuts (two times in 4 years), the heaters will come on to their set point of 81

Wow that's cool Andre, it's almost like a mini controller. My only concern would be calibration in the long run.

There is a function to calibrate the temperature. It works really well.

The only thing I need to figure out is how to waterproof the temp probe, its waterproof stainless steel, but I don't want the metal in contact with the salt water. I have a plastic bag to protect for now, but I will probably put a thin layer of silicon around it.

I aim for 77 but my controller is set 77-78 but will hit 80 on a warm summer day.
