Best test kit

I bought a Red Sea test kit for PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Akalinity. Well just to get a second opinion, I still had some Nitrate tests from my old test kit, an Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Saltwater Master Test. Red Sea reads higher than the API test kit. Anyone have an opinon on which kits are best? Not just out of those two, but out of all the kits out there. Thanks!!

I had bad experiences with my Red Sea test kits. SeaTest-FasTest, Hach, SeaChem, and Salifert usually seem fine.

In general, good kits are sold by Hach, Salifert, Seachem, and LaMotte, among some others. There are a few from those brands that may have issues, and some kits are seemingly fairly inaccurate when used by hobbyists. Nitrate, for example, seem to give numbers all over the place.
