What is an extremely healthy food item to feed my tangs?

They eat marine algae, pmysis shrimp, krill, and will sample others foods I give my triggers and angels.

But is there anything special I can give them?

Thanks.

The most important thing is nori. Tangs in general are herbivores. You can also supplement romaine letteuce in there to.

It is important to feed red, green, & brown algea. I like to rotate different seaweed each day. Nori , Seaweed Selects red, brown, & green, and Julian Sprungs different varieties of Sea Veggies. I have read that certain tangs need certain algeas for nutrition. For example the Naso/Unicorn family is supposed to need a lot of brown algea. For meaty foods a variety is also the way to go. Don't feed only one type. Algea flakes and pellets are also good as a supplement but I wouldn't ever try to replace seaweed with them. The roughage they get from the sheets is important for them.

I can't help it, I have to ask.

Do you really have all those fish in a 250 gallon tank?

Actually I think those might be in his 50. IIRC his 250 isn't up and running yet?

The new home won't be suitable, and you are still asking how to feed the fish you have.
