Best time of day to dose vodka???

I'm getting a BRS doser to automate my vodka dosing. What would your suggestion be for best time of day/night to have the doser kick on?? I will be controlling this through my apex btw. If anyone has any programming ideas for an apex for the above function I would love to hear it. Thanks!

In as small doses/increments as possible, multiple times throughout the day ...

However, if it is a small system, thus likely requiring a very minimal dose of liquid carbon (vodka), then a single dosing point/time can used.

If this is indeed the case, as I suspect, the "best" time of the day would ideally be when the lights are on and Oxygen levels are at their highest. As the bacteria processes/assimilations does noticiably deplete O2 levels, especially in a small closed system. Ergo, you definitely want to avoid dosing a single point scheme at night when O2 levels are (usually) at their lowest.

I dose my tank with vodka with the morning feeding (8-10 am). I sometimes add a second dose in the evening about 12 hours later.

I'd dose vodka whenever if have a free second. For the tank a few hours after lights on.

I would definitely do during the day (when your lights are at their peak) due to oxygen levels depending on how much you dose , the more you dose the more it may compromise O2 levels , so like others have said just break it up into small doses and your tank will never know

I have my Drew's doser setup to deliver vodka 3x per day. Noon, 5PM and 7PM.
